Requesting data deletion

You can ask us to delete the data we hold about you or your business at any time, whether or not you close your account. This page is the marked route for that request — you do not need to be signed in to use it, and you do not need to give a reason.

How to request deletion

Email support@seowebboss.com with the subject Data deletion request, from the email address on the account where possible, and tell us:

• the business name and website the account covers, and
• whether you want everything deleted, or only the data from a particular connected account — for example “delete everything you hold from my Facebook Page”.

If you are signed in, you can also disconnect any single integration yourself from Settings → Integrations. That takes effect immediately: we revoke the grant with the provider where the provider supports it, and delete the stored access and refresh tokens. It does not delete the rest of your account.

What we do, and how quickly

Data obtained from a connected platform is deleted promptly on request — we aim to act within 30 days and usually far sooner. That includes anything we hold from a platform account you connected: the stored tokens, the profile and location identifiers, the page or listing metadata, and the performance figures we retrieved on your behalf. It is also deleted without you asking when you disconnect that integration or close the account.

The rest of your account data — your posts, your blog, your leads and your billing records — is covered by the retention period in our Privacy Policy, or deleted sooner on request here.

What we may keep, and why

We keep records we are required to keep: billing and tax records, and the audit log of publishing actions taken under your account. For clients in licensed professions that audit log may itself be a record-keeping obligation, so it is kept separately from the marketing data above. Nothing in it is used to advertise to you or sold to anyone.

Content already published to your own website or to a platform you connected is yours and stays where it is — deleting your data here does not reach into your Facebook Page or Google Business Profile and remove posts. Tell us if you want those taken down too, or remove them on the platform directly.

Confirmation

We reply to confirm when the deletion is done, and what was deleted. If we cannot identify the account from your request we will say so rather than guess — we will not delete one customer’s data on an unverifiable request.
